Rogene's Snickerdoodles Recipe

Ingredients

2 tbsps sugar .
1/2 c butter or margarine .
2 tsps cinnamon .
2 3/4 c flour .
1/4 tsp salt .
1/2 c shortening .
1 tsp baking soda .
2 tsps cream of tartar .
1 1/2 c sugar .
2 eggs

Directions

Step #1 Mix shortening, butter, sugar & eggs thoroughly.
Step #2 Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt.
Step #3 Shape in 1 inch balls.
Step #4 Roll into a mixture of 2 tbsp sugar & cinnamon.
Step #5 Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Step #6 Bake 8-10 mins at 400F degrees.
