Cinnamon Almond Crescents Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c finely ground blanched almonds
  • 1 c butter (no substitutes), softened
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 2/3 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • TOPPING:

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar.
  • Step #2 Beat in vanilla.
  • Step #3 Combine flour & almonds; slowly add to creamed mixture.
  • Step #4 Roll into 1-in.
  • Step #5 balls; shape into crescents.
  • Step #6 Place 2 in.
  • Step #7 apart on lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 mins or until set (do not brown).
  • Step #9 Combine sugar & cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Step #10 Roll warm cookies in cinnamon-sugar; cool on wire racks.
