Maple-nut Butter Cake Frosting/icing Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c butter .
  • 1/4 c walnuts or pecans, finely sliced .
  • 1/2 c maple syrup .
  • 3 c icing sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Blend butter & sugar.
  • Step #2 Stir in maple syrup & beat until frosting is smooth & fold in nuts.
  • Step #3 Note: this recipe fills & frosts 2 8 or 9in cakes or 1 9x13in cake.
