Pickled Fish Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb fish .
  • 1/2 c sugar .
  • 1 tbsp pickling spices .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 c carrots, cooked & sliced .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 2 c white vinegar .
  • 1 c onions, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut fish in 1" long strips.
  • Step #2 In a large jar, alternate layers of fish, onions & carrots until loosley full.
  • Step #3 Combine vinegar, sugar & seasonings in a pan & boil until sugar is dissolved.
  • Step #4 Cool.
  • Step #5 Pour over fish & put in the fridge 24 hrs before serving.
