1 c nuts or candy canes, crushed ("add-ins") or dried fruit ("add-ins") .
1/4 c butter
Directions
Step #1 Melt chocolate, stirring constantly, & vanilla together in small saucepan over med-heat/flame, milk, butter, until smooth & glossy.
Step #2 Stir in your choice of "add-ins.
Step #3 ".
Step #4 Turn into well-greased 8x8 pan; chill until firm, at least 3 hrs, & cut into squares.
Step #5 RECOMMENDED VARIATIONS-- Try different types of chocolate chips, dark chocolate, or a mixture: milk chocolate, semi-sweet, butterscotch, mint, cinnamon, etc.
Step #6 Use some dried cranberries or blueberries.
Step #7 Stir in sliced almonds, peanuts, sliced walnuts (with maple extract rather than vanilla -- mm), or sliced pecans.
Step #8 How about macademia nuts & craisins? Crushed peppermint candies, caramels, or M&M's would be great too.
