Chocolate Truffle Cake Filling Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsps whipping cream .
  • 4 (1 oz) semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, sliced .
  • 2 1/2 c powdered sugar, sifted .
  • 6 tbsps butter (not margarine)

Directions
  • Step #1 Microwave chocolate & butter at High for 1 min or until melted, stirring once.
  • Step #2 (My microwave died so I did it on the stove in a double boiler, it works just as good).
  • Step #3 Stir in whipping cream.
  • Step #4 Gradually add powdered sugar, stirring until mixed & smooth.
  • Step #5 Cool.
  • Step #6 (Dont put in the fridge too long because this will get too stiff -- trust me.
  • Step #7 just use your judgment.
  • Step #8 I left it in overnight -- uh oh!.
  • Step #9 ).
