Mexican Shredded Beef Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp oregano, crushed .
  • 2 tsps white vinegar .
  • 1/2 tsp cumin .
  • 3/4 c water .
  • 1 dash pepper .
  • 1 lb beef stew meat, trimmed of all fat .
  • 1 tbsp chili powder .
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan & bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Cover up, reduce heat, & let simmer about 2 hrs or until beef is tender.
  • Step #3 Uncover & boil for 15 mins until water has almost totally evaporated.
  • Step #4 Remove from heat & shred using 2 forks.
