Chinese Chop Recipe

Ingredients

1 minced garlic clove .
1/2 lb beef or pork or chicken meat, cut into small pieces .
Chinese noodles, if desired .
1 tsp salt .
1/4 c oil .
1 (10 oz) can mushrooms, drained, saving liquid .
1 tbsp cornstarch .
1 tbsp soya sauce .
1 c celery, sliced .
1 (14 oz) can bean sprouts, drained .
cooked rice, if desired .
1 c onions, sliced

Directions

Step #1 Heat oil in fry pan.
Step #2 Add the meat, soya sauce, salt, & garlic; brown quickly & remove this from pan.
Step #3 To the pan add onion, celery, mushrooms, & bean sprouts & fry a few mins.
Step #4 Add meat.
Step #5 Mix cornstarch with mushroom liquid & add to pan.
Step #6 Heat until hot & thickened.
Step #7 Chinese noodles may be added before serving.
Step #8 Service with rice.
Step #9 NOTE: Leftover meats may be used in this recipe.
Step #10 Serves 4.
