Starbucks Toffee Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg .
  • 1 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/2 c sliced toffee pieces, such as almond rocca .
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar .
  • 1 c white chocolate chips .
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour .
  • 1/2 c butter, softened .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate morsels

Directions
  • Step #1 PREHEAT oven to 375°F Grease 9-inch-square baking pan.
  • Step #2 COMBINE flour, baking soda & salt in small bowl.
  • Step #3 Beat sugar, butter & vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
  • Step #4 Beat in egg; slowly beat in flour mixture.
  • Step #5 Stir in morsels & sliced toffee.
  • Step #6 Spread into prepared baking pan.
  • Step #7 BAKE for 20 to 23 mins.
  • Step #8 Remove pan to wire rack.
  • Step #9 Cool completely in pan on wire rack; put in the fridge for 5 to 10 mins or until chocolate is set.
  • Step #10 Cut into bars.
