Creamy Cucumber Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 2 c milk
  • 2 tsps chicken bouillon
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 medium cucumbers, cut into 1/2 inch chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Place Brussels sprouts in a pot with enough lightly salted water to cover.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil, & cook 5 mins, or until tender.
  • Step #4 Melt the butter in a skillet over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #5 Place cucumbers in the skillet, & cook 5 mins, until tender.
  • Step #6 Set aside cucumbers, & mix the flour into the butter to form a roux.
  • Step #7 Mix in the milk, & pepper, stirring constantly, bouillon, & cook 2 mins, until thickened.
  • Step #8 In a baking dish, mix the Brussels sprouts & cucumbers.
  • Step #9 Drizzle with the butter sauce, & carefully toss to coat.
  • Step #10 Cover, & bake 20 mins in the preheated oven.
