Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed & drained well .
  • 1 c parmesan cheese, freshly grated .
  • 1 c mayonnaise (full fat only) .
  • 1 (14 oz) can water-packed artichoke hearts, drained .
  • 1 (4 oz) can green chilies, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F F & grease a 9" glass pie plate.
  • Step #2 Squeeze every drop of liquid from the spinach that you can & chop up the artichoke hearts into 8ths; mix together.
  • Step #3 Add chilies, mayo, cheese, & garlic powder & mix well.
  • Step #4 Pour into prepared dish & bake for 15 mins, stirring twice.
  • Step #5 Remove from oven & turn on your broiler.
  • Step #6 When the broiler is heated, pop the dip under the broiler & let if briefly brown, about a min or so.
  • Step #7 watch carefully so it does not burn.
  • Step #8 Serve with tortilla chips or inside a loaf of sourdough bread, using chunks of bread or veggies as dippers.
