1 1/2 lbs fresh parsnips, sliced in inch-thick strips .
1/2-3/4 c chicken broth .
salt & freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Step #1 In a large heavy ovenproof frying pan, melt butter over med-heat/flame, & saute parnsnips with salt, pepper, & sugar until lightly brown, about two mins.
Step #2 Add a half c of chicken broth & place pan in oven preheated to 350 degrees F for 15 mins or until tender.
