Stir Fried Soybeans With Garlic And Chile Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp asain sesame oil .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 2 tsps vegetable oil .
  • 2 tsps ginger, peeled & minced .
  • 1 lb frozen edamame (soybeans in shell) .
  • 2 tsps oyster sauce .
  • 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes .
  • 2 tsps garlic, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook edamame in a 5 to 6 quart pot of boiling unsalted water for 5 mins, then drain in colander.
  • Step #2 Meanwhile stir this together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil & red-pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  • Step #3 Heat wok or skillet over high heat until a drop of water evaporates as soon as possible.
  • Step #4 Add vegetable oil, swirling it to coat pan.
  • Step #5 Add the ginger & garlic & stir-fry until fragrant, about 15 seconds, then add edamame & stir-fry until pods are lightly charred, 2 to 3 mins.
  • Step #6 Add soy sauce mixture & stir-fry until edamame are well coated & most of the liquid eveproated, about 1 min.
  • Step #7 Serve.
  • Step #8 *Remember not to eat the pods, but soy beans inside.
