Meatball Lasagna Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c shredded parmesan cheese, divided .
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese .
  • 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese .
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 1 (26 1/2 oz) can pasta sauce .
  • 1 (12 oz) package bow tie pasta (or your choice) .
  • 1 (16 oz) bag frozen meatballs, thawed & cut in half

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Step #2 Spray 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Cook pasta to desired tenderness; drain, return to pan & add half of sauce.
  • Step #4 Spoon half of this into prepared dish.
  • Step #5 Combine egg, ricotta cheese, & 1/2 of Parmesan cheese; spread evenly over pasta.
  • Step #6 Top with meatballs & sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #7 Top with remaining pasta, spreading evenly.
  • Step #8 Pour remaining sauce over pasta, spreading evenly.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 c of Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #10 Cover up with foil wrap, & bake for 1 hr or until bubbly.
  • Step #11 Uncover & bake 5 more mins or until cheese melts.
