Step #1 Place ham bone in a medium stock pot.
Step #2 Fill water to just cover ham bone.
Step #3 Bring water to a boil & add carrots, potato, celery, onion, pepper, & bay leaves.
Step #4 Reduce heat to a medium simmer.
Step #5 Simmer 1 hr.
Step #6 Add lentils.
Step #7 10 mins before serving, bring back to a boil & add egg noodles.
Step #8 5 mins before serving, add peas.
Step #9 Serve when noodles are cooked to desired "doneness".
