Sarah's Pecan Sandies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c pecans, sliced .
  • 2 tsps water .
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract .
  • 2 c flour .
  • powdered sugar .
  • 1 c butter .
  • 1/3 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all ingredients together (except powdered sugar) & chill for approx 4 hrs.
  • Step #2 Shape the dough into the shape of a finger.
  • Step #3 Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, bake for 15-20 min at 325F degrees.
  • Step #4 After they cool, roll in powdered sugar.
