Cocoa Rum Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/8 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 c light rum
  • 3 tbsps light corn syrup
  • 3/4 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 c sliced nuts
  • 1 (12 oz) package vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/4 c cocoa

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, 3/4 c confectioners' sugar, mix vanilla wafer crumbs, sliced nuts, & cocoa.
  • Step #2 Mix in rum & corn syrup.
  • Step #3 Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #4 Store rum balls in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days to develop flavor.
  • Step #5 Roll them again in confectioners' sugar before serving.
