Chocolate Layered Pie Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c milk
1 (5.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 c sliced pecans
1 c all-purpose flour
1 c confectioners' sugar
2 c frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1/2 c butter, melted
1 c frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Step #1 Mix together pecans, melted butter, & flour.
Step #2 Pat into the bottom & up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
Step #3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until lightly browned.
Step #4 Remove from oven, & set aside to cool.
Step #5 In a mixing bowl, mix 1 c whipped topping, cream cheese, & confectioners sugar until creamy.
Step #6 Spread into cooled crust.
Step #7 Whisk together pudding mix & milk.
Step #8 Spread evenly over cheese layer, & the spread remaining whipped topping on top.
Step #9 Chill 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
