Low Fat Dried Fruit Granola Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 egg whites .
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon .
  • 8 oz dried cranberries .
  • 18 oz rolled oats .
  • 8 oz dried blueberries .
  • 1 c honey .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 8 oz almonds, slivered .
  • 8 oz dried cherries

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
  • Step #2 Combine oats, almonds, & apple pie spice.
  • Step #3 In a seperate bowl mix honey, water, & eggs whites.
  • Step #4 Pour honey mixture over oats & stir this to mix.
  • Step #5 Set aside for 15 mins.
  • Step #6 Place granola on a wax paper lined baking sheet & place this in oven for 60-90 mins.
  • Step #7 Stir every 10-15 mins.
  • Step #8 Remove granola from oven when it is dry & crunchy.
  • Step #9 When granola is completely cool stir in the dried fruit.
  • Step #10 Store in an airtight container.
