Dishpan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps baking soda
  • 1 c flaked coconut (optional)
  • 4 c cornflakes cereal
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 2 c light brown sugar
  • 4 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 c white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c quick cooking oats
  • 2 c vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c sliced pecans (optional)
  • 4 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a LARGE bowl, vanilla, cream brown sugar, sugar, oil & eggs together.
  • Step #3 Add flour, soda, salt & oats.
  • Step #4 Mix well.
  • Step #5 Stir in corn flakes, coconut & pecans.
  • Step #6 Drop by rounded tbspfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 to 10 mins.
  • Step #8 Makes 10 dozen (2 inch) cookies.
  • Step #9 Caution: Halve this recipe if you don't want a ton of cookies.
