Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 1 pinch nutmeg .
  • 450 g green & white tagliatelle pasta noodles .
  • 60 g butter .
  • 60 g freshly grated parmesan cheese .
  • 450 g fresh peas or frozen peas, thawed .
  • 200 ml double cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt the butter in a saucepan & add the peas.
  • Step #2 Cook on a low heat for 2 - 3 mins.
  • Step #3 Add 150ml of the cream to the pan, bring to the boil & let simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 mins Remove from heat.
  • Step #4 Bring a pan of water to the boil & add the olive oil.
  • Step #5 Cook the pasta until al dente.
  • Step #6 drain & return to the pan.
  • Step #7 Add the sauce to the pasta & return to the heat.
  • Step #8 Stir in the remaining cream & ensure the peas are hot.
  • Step #9 Stir through the parmesan, season if desired & serve.
