Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tbsps white sugar
  • 1 c crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/4 c white sugar
  • 3/4 c chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
  • 1 c heavy whipping cream
  • 2 c heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package white cake mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Stir in the 1 c crushed cookies & bake as directed for two 8 or 9 inch round layer pans.
  • Step #3 Let cake cool.
  • Step #4 Whip 1 c of the heavy cream with 1 1/2 tbsps of the white sugar.
  • Step #5 Fold in the sliced cookies & spread between the cooled cake layers.
  • Step #6 Whip the remaining 2 c heavy cream with 1/4 c white sugar.
  • Step #7 Use to frost sides & top of cake.
  • Step #8 Refrigerate cake for several hrs before serving.
