Chocolate Mocha Liqueur Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 c hot water
  • 2 tbsps coffee flavored liqueur
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 2 tbsps vodka
  • 3/4 c water
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/4 c coffee flavored liqueur
  • 1/4 c vodka

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease & flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, eggs, oil, pudding mix, mix the cake mix, 3/4 c water, 1/4 c coffee liqueur & 1/4 c Vodka.
  • Step #4 Mix well, then pour this into greased & floured Bundt pan.
  • Step #5 Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step #6 Pour glaze over hot cake while still in pan.
  • Step #7 Let cake sit for 30 mins.
  • Step #8 To make the glaze: in a small saucepan mix sugar, butter & 1/4 c hot water.
  • Step #9 Bring to a boil & cook for 1 min.
  • Step #10 remove this from heat & stir in the 2 tbsps coffee liqueur & 2 tbsps vodka.
