• 1/2 tsp thyme .
• 5 medium eggs .
• 1 tsp dry rubbed sage .
• 1/4 tsp black pepper .
• 3 c chicken broth .
• 1/2 tsp salt .
• 2 medium onions, sliced .
• 1 loaf stale bread, tore up into little pieces .
• 1/2 tbsp dried parsley flakes .
• 1/2 c real butter .
• 1 c milk .
• 3 stalks celery, sliced into small pieces

• Step #1 In skillet or saucepan cook the veggies & seasonings with the butter until tender.
• Step #2 Add the chicken broth & let simmer for another 5 mins.
• Step #3 Pour over the torn bread & fold into the bread pieces.
• Step #4 In separate bowl, beat the eggs; then add to the bread mixture & mix well.
• Step #5 Stir in the milk & pour this into a sprayed or buttered crock pot.
• Step #6 Cook for 2 hrs on low then turn to.
• Step #7 high & cook for another 2 hrs.
• Step #8 Very moist & great flavor, not too strong.
