Creamy Peanut Butter Jammies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 1/2 oz) package put in the fridged peanut butter cookie dough .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1/3 c seedless strawberry jam .
  • 1/3 c chunky peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c sugar .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 1/3 c sliced roasted peanuts .
  • 1 large egg

Directions
  • Step #1 Line bottom & sides of an 11 X 7 inch baking dish with aluminum foil wrap, allowing edges to overhang 2 to 3 inches.
  • Step #2 Lightly grease the foil wrap.
  • Step #3 Press two-thirds of the cookie dough evenly onto bottom of pan.
  • Step #4 Beat cream cheese & next 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixter until smooth.
  • Step #5 Spread mixture evenly over cookie dough.
  • Step #6 Stir together jam & peanut butter using a fork.
  • Step #7 Dollop evenly over cream cheese mixture, being sure to include corners of the pan.
  • Step #8 Gently swirl jam mixture & cream cheese mixture with a knife.
  • Step #9 Crumble remaining cookie dough evenly over filling.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top with sliced roasted peanuts.
  • Step #11 Bake at 325F degrees for 40 to 45 mins or until cream cheese layer is set & a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #12 Cool in pan on wire rack 1 hr; chill in pan at least 30 mins.
  • Step #13 Lift edges of foil wrap, & remove this from the pan; carefully peel off foil wrap.
  • Step #14 Cut into 24 squares.
  • Step #15 Store in the refrigerator.
  • Step #16 Remove from refrigerator 1 hr before serving.
  • Step #17 Preparation time does not include 1 hr cooling time or 30 mins of chill time.
