Rich And Cheesy Ham And Asparagus Noodle Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup .
  • fresh coarse ground black pepper, to taste .
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz) jar Green Giant sliced mushrooms, drained .
  • 1 tsp instant minced onion .
  • 1/3 c milk .
  • 1 1/4 c sour cream .
  • 1 1/2-2 c finely crushed ruffles potato chips .
  • 3 c cooked ham, cubed bite-sized .
  • 2 c shredded kraft Italian cheese mix (8 oz. package) .
  • 3 c uncooked wide or dumpling egg noodles .
  • 1 1/2 c raw asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions
  • Step #1 In large bowl, mix together well the first 4 ingredients.
  • Step #2 Gently fold in rest of ingredients except noodles & potato chips.
  • Step #3 Cook noodles 1 min less than shortest time on directions.
  • Step #4 *I cooked mine for 6 mins.
  • Step #5 Fold in noodles.
  • Step #6 Pour/spoon into lightly greased 13x9 baking dish.
  • Step #7 Top with crushed potato chips.
  • Step #8 Bake in 350 oven for 35 mins til bubbly! *Do not precook asparagus.
  • Step #9 **Can sub a 10 oz.
  • Step #10 box frozen sliced broccoli, thawed & drained, for the asparagus if preferred.
