Chicken Ring Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps Dijon mustard .
  • 1 1/4 c fresh finely sliced broccoli .
  • 1/4 c Italian parsley, sliced .
  • 2 c shredded cheese (casserole mix) .
  • 1/2 c light mayonnaise .
  • 3 chicken breasts, cooked & shredded .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 tsp lemon juice .
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked & crumbled .
  • 1/4 c finely sliced onions .
  • 2 crescent roll dough, packages

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step #2 Cook chicken in pressure cooker.
  • Step #3 Once it starts to giggle slowly turn heat on low & allow to giggle for 20 mins.
  • Step #4 While chicken is cooking, chop broccoli, onion, & parsley & mix in bowl.
  • Step #5 Cook bacon & allow this to cool, then crumble & add to veggie mixture.
  • Step #6 Add cheese, mayo, mustard, & lemon juice to bowl & mix well.
  • Step #7 Once chicken is done, shred & stir in theto your veggie mix.
  • Step #8 Set aside.
  • Step #9 On a cookie sheet or large stone pan, unroll crescent rolls & mash together seams (join the 2 packets at the ends).
  • Step #10 Spoon mixture down the center third of the pastry, cut horizontal strips on both sides & braid them over the mixture.
  • Step #11 Separate egg, only keeping the white & brush over the top of braid.
  • Step #12 Bake for 30 to 35 mins or until golden brown.
