Walnut Molasses Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c molasses .
  • 1 1/2 c walnuts, sliced .
  • 3/4 c light corn syrup .
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell .
  • 1/3 c butter, melted .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 2/3 c sugar .
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 In a bowl, sugar, whisk the eggs, corn syrup, butter, molasses & vanilla until mixed; stir in the walnuts.
  • Step #2 Pour into pastry shell & cover edges with foil wrap.
  • Step #3 Bake at 350 for 25 mins; remove foil wrap.
  • Step #4 Bake 12-17 mins longer or until top of pie is set & crust is golden brown.
  • Step #5 Cool on a wire rack.
  • Step #6 Refrigerate 1-2 hrs before cutting.
