Step #2 Press into a 8" pie plate & put in freezer.
Step #3 Wash, hull & puree pint of strawberries with 2 tbsp sugar & reserve.
Step #4 Beat egg whites with remaining 4 tbsps of sugar until stiff.
Step #5 Refrigerate.
Step #6 Whip the cream with vanilla extract until smooth & creamy, removing 1/2 c for garnish.
Step #7 Fold the strawberry puree & egg whites into the whipping cream.
Step #8 Pour into prepared crust & freeze until hard.
Step #9 Just before serving decorate top of frozen pie with the reserved whipped cream & sliced strawberries, then drizzle with chocolate sauce & enjoy.
