Rebecca's Olives (olives Baked In Cheese) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps butter, room temperature .
  • 1/2 c flour .
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne .
  • 1 c shredded cheese (if using spread, 1/2 a small jar spread like Kraft Old English) or 2 1/2 oz cheese spread (if using spread, 1/2 a small jar spread like Kraft Old English) .
  • 12 garlic-stuffed olives

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Drain olives & pat dry.
  • Step #3 Thoroughly mix cheese & butter.
  • Step #4 Add flour & cayenne, stirring to fully mix.
  • Step #5 When thoroughly mixd but crumbly, work mixture together with your fingers to form dough (no need to knead--it will stick right together).
  • Step #6 Roll a tbsp-sized clump of dough into a ball.
  • Step #7 Press it flat between the palms of your hands.
  • Step #8 Put an olive in the center & press dough around sides to enclose.
  • Step #9 Roll it between your palms to smooth surface, if you like.
  • Step #10 Bake 15 - 20 mins.
  • Step #11 Serve warm or at about room temp.
