Easy Trifle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps milk .
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 3 tbsps sugar .
  • 4 c milk .
  • 2 (90 g) boxes instant jelly crystals, any flavour .
  • 1 chocolate swiss roll or butter chocolate cake .
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavoring .
  • 3 tbsps custard powder, mix with .
  • 1 (820 g) can peach slices in syrup .
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions
  • Step #1 Slice chocolate roll/cake & arrange to cover 9" x 13" glass dish.
  • Step #2 Drain the peach slices & sprinkle about 2 to 3 tbs of its syrup on the cake.
  • Step #3 Custard; mix milk, sugar & custard & stir over slow heat until thicken.
  • Step #4 Mix vanilla & egg yolk, stir.
  • Step #5 Remove from heat, mix butter.
  • Step #6 Pour custard over the cake & spread out the custard all over the cake so that there is no gap.
  • Step #7 Arrange the peaches slice on custard.
  • Step #8 Make the jelly according to the packing instructions.
  • Step #9 Pour over the custard & peaches.
  • Step #10 Cool in the refrigerator.
