Pork Chops In Creamy Vegetable Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c fresh mushrooms, sliced .
  • 1 tsp paprika .
  • 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips .
  • 1/2 c nonfat sour cream .
  • 1 tomato, seeded & sliced .
  • 6 pork rib chops, 1/2 inch thick, fat trimmed (about 1 1/2 lbs total) .
  • 1 (10 1/4 oz) can 98% fat-free condensed mushroom soup .
  • 1/4 c skim milk .
  • nonstick cooking spray .
  • 2 c cooked noodles

Directions
  • Step #1 Spray an unheated 12 inch skillet with the nonstick spray.
  • Step #2 Preheat over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #3 Add pork chops; cook for 6 mins.
  • Step #4 Turn chops, add mushrooms & sweet pepper.
  • Step #5 Cook about 6 mins more or until pork juices run clear (still slightly pink inside).
  • Step #6 Remove chops & vegetables.
  • Step #7 Meanwhile, sour cream, for sauce, in a small mixing bowl stir this together soup, milk & paprika.
  • Step #8 Stir mixture into skillet; heat to boiling.
  • Step #9 Return chops & vegetables to skillet.
  • Step #10 Cook covered, for 5 mins.
  • Step #11 Add tomato; cook for 1 to 2 mins more or until heated through.
  • Step #12 Serve with hot noodles.
