Butterflied Shrimp In Wine Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c flour .
  • 2 tbsps oil .
  • 3 tbsps butter .
  • 2 tbsps parsley .
  • 1 lb large shrimp .
  • 1/3 c dry vermouth .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/8 tsp pepper .
  • 1/2 c chicken broth .
  • 1 egg

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine broth, vermouth salt & pepper & set aside.
  • Step #2 Remove shells & butterfly shrimp, devien rinse & pat dry with paper towels.
  • Step #3 Coat shrimp with beaten egg, then flour.
  • Step #4 Over medium heat add butter & oil until bubbly.
  • Step #5 Cook shrimp until pink 1-2 mins each side.
  • Step #6 Stir in vermouth mixture, cook for about 1 min.
  • Step #7 Garnish with lemon & parsley.
