Ingredients

1 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 c butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 tsps vanilla extract
4 c crisp rice cereal
2 c white sugar

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Stir together flour, baking soda & salt & set aside.
Step #3 Beat butter or margarine & sugar until smooth.
Step #4 Beat in eggs & vanilla.
Step #5 Mix in flour mixture.
Step #6 Stir in cereal & chocolate chips.
Step #7 Drop onto greased baking sheet & bake for about 10 mins or until lightly browned.
