Shredded Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb sliced bacon .
  • 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, cored & shredded .
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt .
  • 2/3 c pine nuts .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 3 green onions, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Place the bacon In a large-ish, deep skillet.
  • Step #2 Cook over medium-high heat until crisp.
  • Step #3 Drain, reserving 2 tbsps grease, crumble & set aside.
  • Step #4 In the same skillet, melt butter in with reserved bacon grease over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #5 Add pine nuts, & cook stirring,until browned.
  • Step #6 Add Brussels sprouts & green onions to the pan, & season this with seasoning salt & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cook over med-heat/flame until sprouts are wilted & tender, about 10 to 15 mins.
  • Step #8 Stir in crumbled bacon just before serving.
