Layered Mini Lasagne Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ricotta cheese .
  • 1 lb lean ground beef .
  • 1/2 c sliced onions .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 12 oz mafalda pasta, uncooked .
  • grated parmesan cheese .
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh parsley .
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step #2 In large skillet, cook meat & onion until meat browns; drain.
  • Step #3 Stir in spaghetti sauce; heat to boiling.
  • Step #4 Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 mins.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Step #6 In large bowl stir this together ricotta cheese, egg, pepper, parsley, & salt.
  • Step #7 In 9x13x2 inch baking dish, spread 1 c meat sauce.
  • Step #8 Evenly layer one-half pasta over sauce.
  • Step #9 Spread ricotta mixture over pasta; sprinkle with 1 c mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #10 Repeat layers of meat sauce & pasta.
  • Step #11 Spread remaining meat sauce over pasta, covering pasta completely; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #12 Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #13 Cover up with foil wrap.
  • Step #14 Bake 30 mins.
  • Step #15 Remove foil wrap; bake 5 more mins or until hot & bubbly.
