Cheesy Chicken And Biscuit Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 c flour .
  • 1 tbsp baking powder .
  • 3/4 tsp salt .
  • 2 c cheddar cheese, shredded .
  • 1/2 c onions, sliced small .
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup, condensed .
  • 1/2 c celery, sliced thin .
  • 1 1/2 c milk .
  • 6 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 3 c cooked chicken, sliced .
  • 1/2 c carrots, sliced very thin

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 400F degrees F.
  • Step #2 Spray a 9x11 cake pan with non-stick cooking spray, lightly.
  • Step #3 In a small mixing bowl, mix meat, soup & vegetables.
  • Step #4 Spread mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Step #5 Top with shredded cheese.
  • Step #6 In another mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder & salt.
  • Step #7 Mix well or sift together.
  • Step #8 Add milk & oil.
  • Step #9 Mix well with a fork until all dry ingredients are moist.
  • Step #10 Drop biscuit dough by spoonfuls over the soup mixture.
  • Step #11 Don't worry of the dough balls don't touch - they swell when cooking.
  • Step #12 Bake 15-20 mins or until tops of biscuits are starting to brown & visible soup is bubbling nicely.
  • Step #13 Remove from oven & let sit 10 mins before serving.
