5 dried apricots, coarsely sliced or 4 canned apricots .
1 dash Angostura bitters (optional) .
1 1/2 oz Grand Marnier or Cointreau liqueur .
1/2 oz golden rum .
1 1/2 oz coconut milk
Directions
Step #1 Place sliced apricots, brown sugar, 1 oz of the Grand Marnier & 5 tbsps of the orange juice in a small pot over low heat/flame & let simmer until thick & syrupy, stirring frequently.
Step #2 About 8-10 mins for the apricot flavor to infuse the simple syrup.
Step #3 (If your apricots are very dry they will soak up more of the fluid, lower heat & add more juice.

Strain syrup mixture pressing with the back of a spoon to release all the liquid.
Step #5 In a cocktail shaker filled with ice (or use two glasses that fit one inside the other) mix syrup solution with whipping cream, rums, coconut milk, remaining 1/2 oz of Grand Marnier & 3 oz of fresh squeezed orange juice.
Step #6 Add a dash of bitters.
Step #7 Vigorously shake & strain into a martini glass.
