Holiday Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs .
4 c flour .
1 c butter .
2 c white sugar

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step #2 Melt butter in a pan over low heat/flame.
Step #3 In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, 2 c of flour, & the sugar.
Step #4 Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well mixed.
Step #5 Slowly mix in the remaining 2 c of flour.
Step #6 Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
Step #7 Using cookies cutters, cut out shapes.
Step #8 Place them 1 1/2 inches apart on cookies sheets.
Step #9 Bake for 12 to 15 mins.
Step #10 Cool cookies on wire rack.
Step #11 Decorate as desired.
