Melissa's Easy Chocolate Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 9 inches pastry pie crusts .
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz) box chocolate pudding mix (cook & serve) .
  • 2 c milk (use whole milk)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook pastry crust as directed on package for a filled pie.
  • Step #2 Stir pudding mix into 2 c of milk with whisk in a medium saucepan.
  • Step #3 Stir constantly (it tends to stick to the bottom of the pan).
  • Step #4 Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
  • Step #5 Cool cooked pudding 5 mins, stirring twice.
  • Step #6 Pour into baked pie crust.
  • Step #7 Refrigerate at least 3 to 4 hrs.
  • Step #8 Serve with your favorite whipped topping.
  • Step #9 I even add a sprinkle of chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips for presentation.
