Fudgy Chocolate Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package chocolate cake mix .
  • 3 c nonfat milk, cold .
  • 1/4 c caramel topping (as for ice cream) .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese .
  • 1/4 c hot fudge topping (as for ice cream) .
  • 1/4 c sliced almonds, toasted .
  • 1 (8 oz) carton whipped topping .
  • 2 (1 1/2 oz) packages sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix .
  • 1 (15 oz) can solid-pack pumpkin

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F, & spray 13"x9" glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #2 In large bowl, mix cake mix & pumpkin, then spread evenly into baking dish.
  • Step #3 Bake 20-25 mins or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Step #4 Cool completely on wire rack.
  • Step #5 In large bowl, whisk milk & pudding mixes for 2 mins, then let this stand 5 mins or until soft-set.
  • Step #6 In small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step #7 Add pudding & beat until well mixed.
  • Step #8 Spread over cake, then cover & put in the fridge at least 2 hrs.
  • Step #9 Before serving, spread whipped topping over dessert.
  • Step #10 Drizzle with fudge & caramel toppings, & sprinkle with almonds.
