Chinese Cabbage Saladi Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsps white sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) package chicken flavored ramen noodles, crushed, seasoning packet reserved
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz toasted slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/2 c sliced green onions
  • 1 (16 oz) package broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 3 tbsps red wine vinegar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small saucepan, cook the vinegar & sugar over med-heat/flame until dissolved.
  • Step #2 Remove from heat & stir in the salt, pepper, ramen seasoning packet & oil.
  • Step #3 Set aside to cool.
  • Step #4 In a large bowl, broccoli coleslaw mix, mix the uncooked ramen noodles, & green onions.
  • Step #5 Pour dressing over salad; toss evenly to coat.
  • Step #6 Refrigerate until chilled.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with almonds & sesame seeds before serving.
