Ingredients
2 tsps sugar .
4 1/2 tsps cold butter, divided .
1 (12 oz) jar caramel ice cream topping .
3/4 c sugar .
1 1/4 c milk .
3 tbsps cold butter, plus .
1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract .
1/4 c all-purpose flour .
1 3/4 c heavy whipping cream .
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon .
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon .
1/3 c brown sugar, packed .
1 c golden delicious apples, sliced, peeled .
Ice cream .
1/2 c pecans, sliced
Directions
Step #1 For the streusel, mix the brown sugar, flour & cinnamon in a bowl.
Step #2 Cut in 3 tbsps butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Step #3 Stir in pecans.
Step #4 Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
Step #5 Bake at 350°F for 10-12 min.
Step #6 Cool slightly; break into small pieces.
Step #7 Cool completely.
Step #8 In a skillet, melt remaining butter.
Step #9 Stir in the apple, sugar & cinnamon.
Step #10 Cook for 8-10 mins or until apples are tender.
Step #11 In a large saucepan, heat the milk to 175°F; stir in the sugar until dissolved, then cool.
Step #12 In a large bowl, mix the milk mixture, cream & vanilla.
Step #13 Refrigerate for several hrs or overnight.
Step #14 Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Step #15 Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze.
Step #16 Add apple mixture to each batch of ice cream; freeze 5 mins longer.
Step #17 Spoon a third of the ice cream into a freezer container.
Step #18 Top with a third of the streusel mixture.
Step #19 Drizzle with a third of the caramel topping.
Step #20 Repeat layers once.
Step #21 Top with remaining ice cream.
Step #22 With a spatula, cut through ice cream in several places to carefully swirl layers.
Step #23 Cover up; freeze overnight.
Step #24 Garnish with the remaining streusel & caramel topping.
