Garlicky Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb wild mushrooms or cultivated mushrooms .
  • 2 tsps minced garlic .
  • 2 tbsps olive oil .
  • coarse sea salt, preferably fleur de sel .
  • 1 tbsp sliced parsley .
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Trim stems off cleaned mushrooms & cut caps into bite-size pieces.
  • Step #2 Very small mushrooms can be left whole.
  • Step #3 Set a 10-to 12-inch frying pan over high heat.
  • Step #4 When hot, add olive oil, swirl to coat bottom, & add mushrooms.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top with salt & cook over high heat, stirring, until mushrooms stop giving off liquid & start to brown.
  • Step #6 Add garlic & cook, stirring, 2 to 3 mins.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat; stir in the parsley.
  • Step #8 Serve on a platter & season this with sea salt.
