Chocolate Cherry Chip Cake Recipe

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step #2 Place a piece of parchment paper on the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch pan.
Step #3 Grease & flour the pan.
Step #4 In a large bowl, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, mix flour, soda & salt.
Step #5 Add eggs, coffee, milk, oil & vanilla.
Step #6 Beat until smooth (batter will be thin).
Step #7 Fold in cherries & chocolate chips.
Step #8 Pour batter into 9x13 inch pan.
Step #9 Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 mins or until toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean.
Step #10 It's best to leave it in the pan, because the chips & the cherries sort of sink to the bottom & solidify & may stick.
Step #11 (If you want to take it out of the pan, you are safe if you use the parchment paper as suggested in step #2~!).
Step #12 For the frosting: In a large bowl, confectioners sugar, mix butter, 1/2 tsp salt & vanilla.
Step #13 Cream with an electric mixer.
Step #14 Add milk by the tbsp until frosting is smooth.
