French Market Squash Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup .
  • 1 (6 oz) package seasoned stuffing mix (your preference on flavor of stuffing) .
  • 1/2 c butter, melted .
  • 1 small onion, sliced .
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 2 lbs yellow squash, cubed

Directions
  • Step #1 Place squash in a saucepan & cover with water; simmer over med-heat/flame until nearly tender.
  • Step #2 Drain.
  • Step #3 Mix squash, soup, butter, onion, half the stuffing mix, sour cream, salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Spoon into a greased 13 X 9-inch baking pan; sprinkle with remaining stuffing mix.
  • Step #5 Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 mins.
