Coconut Cream Torte Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 c sour cream
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package butter cake mix
  • 1 c sliced pecans, toasted
  • 1 (10 oz) package flaked coconut

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare cake batter according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Pour into three greased & floured 9-in.
  • Step #3 baking pans.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #5 Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Step #6 In a bowl, mix the sour cream, coconut, pecans & sugar.
  • Step #7 Place one cake on a serving platter; spread with a third of the sour cream mixture.
  • Step #8 Repeat layers twice.
  • Step #9 Store in the refrigerator.
