Gruyere, Chorizo And Egg Tarts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 75 g gruyere cheese, cut in to small cubes .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry .
  • salt & pepper, to serve .
  • 2 small chorizo sausages, sliced .
  • 1/4 c flat leaf parsley, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat the oven to 200°C.
  • Step #2 Cut the pastry sheet into 4 equal parts & prick the tops with a fork.
  • Step #3 Bake on baking tray for 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Gently press down the centre of each square & scatter the Gruyere cheese & chorizo over the top.
  • Step #5 Crack an egg onto each & bake for 5-7 mins, or until the eggs are softly set & the pastry is golden brown.
  • Step #6 Scatter each one with parsely salt & pepper & serve.
