Baby Lima Beans With Tomatoes And Sage Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage, minced .
  • 1/4 c water .
  • 1/2 head garlic .
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 1 (10 oz) box frozen baby lima beans (partially thawed) .
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 3/4 c tomatoes, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Separate the garlic into individual cloves; peel & slice them.
  • Step #2 In a large heavy-botomed frying pan, mix the garlic, oil & sage.
  • Step #3 Cook over low heat/flame, for 5 mins, stirring frequently, or until the garlic begins to turn golden.
  • Step #4 Don't let the garlic burn or turn brown.
  • Step #5 Add the beans, tomatoes & water.
  • Step #6 Bring to a boil over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #7 Simmer for 20 mins, or until thick.
  • Step #8 Spice up with the pepper.
