Dilly Spoon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c canola oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c warm fat free milk (110 to 115 degrees F)
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • 1 (.25 oz) package active dry yeast
  • 3 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
  • Step #2 Stir in 1-1/2 c flour, dill, salt, sugar, egg & oil.
  • Step #3 Beat until smooth.
  • Step #4 Beat in enough remaining flour to achieve a slightly sticky, thick batter.
  • Step #5 Do not knead.
  • Step #6 Cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 mins.
  • Step #7 Spoon batter into muffin c coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #8 Cover & let rise until doubled, about 30 mins.
  • Step #9 Bake at 400F degrees F for 13-18 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #10 Remove from pans to wire racks.
  • Step #11 Serve warm.
